About the Competition
The Michigan Corporate Finance Competition strives to provide contestants with a thorough learning experience using a case study. Contestants will be given a business case that incorporates the use of corporate finance concepts and financial modeling skills in Excel. The case will include financial data for a hypothetical scenario. To analyze the situation properly, teams will have to create a financial model in Excel that evaluates the given situation. As a part of the presentation, teams will present their final recommendation on the case. The students will be allocated two weeks to work on the case and prepare for their final presentations.
